FAQs
Do I need an RPX Rowing Computer to use the Oar Sensors?
Yes. Multiple oar sensors can connect over our CrewNet wireless network to the RPX display for easy pairing, low latency, and long-range data transmission, then the RPX turns that data into the metrics you review after each row.
Do I need an RPX for each rowing seat?
No. One RPX can connect to every oar sensor in the boat.
Do I need to calibrate the Oar Sensors?
Most metrics do not require additional calibration. Some metrics require a simple calibration procedure that takes less than 1 minute dockside.
