Built for the water.
Cared for on land.
Every Rowing Precision device is waterproof and boat-ready — a little care between rows keeps it that way for seasons.
After every row
Fully waterproof — but bring devices indoors when not in use, and don’t store them wet. Let everything air-dry before it goes in a bag or on a shelf.
Saltwater care
After saltwater exposure, gently rinse the unit with fresh water and allow it to dry completely. Salt left to dry on seals and contacts shortens their life.
The USB-C port
USB-C ports are waterproof — but we strongly recommend keeping a silicone USB-C port plug in place on the water. It keeps out foreign matter and prevents damage that could stop charging or USB-C communication. Never charge while the port is wet — allow it to dry first.
Heat & sun
Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, and never leave a device in a hot car — cabin temperatures can exceed safe battery limits. Charge between 0 °C and 45 °C, and store somewhere cool and dry.
If something looks wrong
Cracks in the housing, signs of water ingress, or damage after a hard impact? Stop using the device and don’t charge it — contact us. Many units returned promptly can be repaired.
Full care, storage, and battery-safety details are in each product’s manual — Videos & Manuals.
